2. Getting a new mouse pad at work. Besides the fact that it was pretty much falling apart, the old mouse pad had also become a cluttered daydreaming doodle pad which comforted me many-a-times during my wedding planning and then during my pregnancy. I can’t tell you how many times I traced over the 9-26-2009 and 7-16-2010 written along the bottom of the pad, and how many times Evelyn was written with curly letters and little flowers coming off the bottom of the y.
But alas, a clean slate…
3.My boss buying our team munchkin donuts for an after lunch surprise.
4. Walking with my mom and daughter on a cool fall day and seeing my daughter all cozied up in her stroller.
5. Not having to make dinner because Mom made extra of her pot roast for me to take home.
6. This picture...
Because mom is so happy to have a new storm door and because if she ever wondered what it was like to have a 25 year old body again... well now she knows.
7. Watching Evie stand and support herself using only one of my hands. Such a strong healthy girl.
8. Tiny toes...
9. Striped pants....
10. Pink buttons...
11. And twisty legs.
12. Watching the deer walk around at my parents house.
13. Taking the Blue Ridge Parkway home even though it's longer and stopping to take a picture of what really is my parents backyard.
14. My daughter looking for me when I walk away from her....
15. And then smiling when she sees me.
What made you smile today??
If you can't think of anything...
try striped pants.... it worked for me.

Thanks for the striped pants! Those did make me smile. The darling Evie smile helped too.
